Terms of Service
Version 1.0 · Effective 2026-08-02
These Terms describe how TalkMirror works today. Bracketed items such as [OPERATOR] and [CONTACT_EMAIL] are placeholders to be completed before public launch. This page is not legal advice.
1. Who we are
TalkMirror (“the Service”) is operated by [OPERATOR] (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at [CONTACT_EMAIL]. The Service is offered in the United States, Canada, the European Union, the United Kingdom, and Australia.
2. What the Service does
TalkMirror lets you provide a conversation — by pasting text or attaching a chat export, screenshot, PDF, document, or audio file — and returns an AI-generated reflection on the communication dynamics in it. You can also ask follow-up questions about that analysis. The Service does not give medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.
3. Eligibility and age
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
4. Your account
You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address. You are responsible for keeping access to that email secure and for activity that happens under your account. You may optionally set a display name. Each account’s investigations are private to that account.
5. Content you provide and your responsibilities
You keep ownership of the material you upload. Because that material often contains other people’s messages and personal data, before each analysis you must confirm that:
- •you have the legal right to upload the material and have it analyzed by AI;
- •where the law requires it, you have obtained the necessary permissions or consents from the people whose messages, personal data, voice, or image appear in it; and
- •you remain responsible for the legality of the material you provide.
Your use of the Service must also follow our Acceptable Use Policy.
6. How your content is processed
To produce an analysis, the conversation you provide is sent to third-party AI providers that generate the result. Your investigations (the conversation, the analysis, and any follow-up questions) are stored on our servers so you can reopen them. See our Privacy Policy and AI Transparency notice for details.
7. AI output — no professional advice
Analyses and answers are generated by AI. They are probabilistic, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and are not a diagnosis or professional advice. You are responsible for how you act on them, and you should use your own judgment and consult a qualified professional where appropriate.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by applicable law, [OPERATOR] is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access to the Service, or remove content, where use appears unlawful or breaches these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms; the version and effective date at the top of this page will change, and we may ask you to re-accept material updates before you continue. These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING_LAW], without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. Questions? Contact [CONTACT_EMAIL].
