Acceptable Use Policy

Version 1.0 · Effective 2026-08-02

This policy is part of, and read alongside, our Terms of Service. Bracketed items such as [CONTACT_EMAIL] are placeholders to be completed before public launch.

The basics

TalkMirror is a tool for reflecting on your own conversations. Use it lawfully and responsibly, and only provide material you have the right to share.

You must not

  • upload conversations or personal data you have no right to share, or that you obtained through unlawful interception or secret recording where that is prohibited;
  • use the Service to harass, stalk, dox, threaten, or harm anyone, or to build a profile of someone in order to manipulate or abuse them;
  • upload illegal content, or content depicting the abuse or sexualization of minors;
  • attempt to identify or re-identify individuals against their wishes, or use output to make consequential decisions about a person without appropriate human judgment;
  • interfere with, overload, or attempt to bypass the security, rate limits, or access controls of the Service;
  • misrepresent AI-generated output as professional advice, or as a definitive judgment about a person.

Content from other people

Because uploaded conversations usually involve other people, before each analysis you confirm that you have the right to provide the material and, where the law requires it, the necessary permissions or consents from the people it concerns. You remain responsible for the legality of what you provide.

Enforcement and reporting

We may remove content and suspend or end access where use appears unlawful or breaches this policy. If someone’s data appears in a conversation and they want it reviewed or removed, they can contact us at [CONTACT_EMAIL].
